The trail follows a well-defined footpath which runs as close to the edge of the two rivers as possible to provide spectacular views of the waterfalls. The 7km circular route passes ancient base rocks that form the Peak District and the many rare plants and trees they support. Keep the children entertained as they walk with an activity pack from the Ticket Office (price £1.00) which includes an activity sheet and pencil. Find the 10 wooden marker posts around the trail, shown marked on the map and claim a prize at The Falls Café. Keen runner? Why not enjoy spectacular views while running the Waterfall Trail Fell Race, held in June each year.
