The Fenwick has a selection of local golf courses to choose from, offering stunning views and scenery, that suit all handicaps and styles. After a day on the fairways, a warm welcome awaits.
Kirkby Lonsdale Golf Club
The 18 hole, par 72 course is situated in 160 acres of Lune Valley countryside within the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The course is set out in two anti-clockwise nine-hole loops that make full use of the natural landscape. Facilities also include a driving range and swing room. An 11.5 mile drive from The Fenwick.
Bentham Golf Club
Bentham is an 18 hole course with a backdrop of The Three Peaks in the Yorkshire Dales. The Forest of Bowland and Lake District hills to the west add to the panoramic views from the course and provide a welcome distraction from the challenging, rolling course. Facilities also include an 8-bay driving range. An 8.5 mile drive from The Fenwick.
Lancaster Golf Club
Designed in 1932 by James Braid, Lancaster Golf Club has built a reputation of being one of the finest courses in Lancashire. It offers views of the Lakeland Hills, Trough of Bowland and the Lune Estuary. With 2 loops of 9 holes and a par of 71 (off the white and yellow tees) Lancaster is a fair test of golf for both the accomplished and intermediate golfer. Peter Alliss listed the 18th hole here in his Top 10 finishing holes. A 10.5 mile drive from The Fenwick.
Silverdale Golf Club
Set within Arnside and Silverdale AONB, Lancashire, and next to Leighton Moss RSPB reserve, Silverdale Golf Club has great views over the surrounding countryside, across Morecambe Bay and towards the Cumbrian Howgill Fells. The 18 hole course is a par 70 (5,654 yards) and is a course of two halves, each of differing character. Much of the old part of Silverdale Golf Course stands on a limestone ridge, providing excellent drainage. A 12 mile drive from The Fenwick.
